MACC Annual Banquet:
April 28th, 2010; 5:30 p.m.
The Chamber's Spring Banquet will be held Wednesday, April 28th at the Bluebird Restaurant. Cost is $35 per plate. RSVP is needed by April 9th. Click here for your invitation today!

Spring Food Drive
Collection date NO LATER THAN March 29th
The Morristown Visionary Committee is organizing a Spring Food Drive to benefit the Little Blue River Friends Food Pantry. While this food drive will not be a challenge among Chamber members, we do hope that many of our members will participate in this food drive.
The food pantry is continuing to serve approximately 140 families each month.
This Spring Food Drive will have a collection date of March 29th. Please have all food items delivered to the community room at Shelby County Bank, Morristown Branch no later than noon on Monday, March 29th. These items will then be available for distribution in time for Easter Sunday. Your participation will be greatly appreciated.

Morriston Derby Days
Soap Box Derby, July 31, 2010
The Morristown Boys & Girl Scouts are preparing for this year’s Soap Box Derby race during Derby Days. If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please download the form here or contact Doug Warfield.

Little Blue River Food Pantry
Thank you Chamber Members!
The MACC has collected approximately 1900 pounds of food and $835 in cash for the Little Blue River Food Pantry!
This is a wonderful beginning to the community food drive. There are still a few collection boxes that need to be gathered. A final tally will be available soon. Again, thank you to all of those that participated.

Chamber Challenge
Team Morristown wins again!
The Morristown Chamber won another exciting Chamber Challenge at Indiana Downs on September 7th, 2009. Joining Morristown in the challenge were the Shelby County Chamber, Greenfield Chamber, and Greenwood Chambers of Commerce.
A special ‘Thank You’ also goes out to: Janie Schuster, Jon Shuster, Sheri Yarling, Vicki Gray, Jack Droghei, and Joe Melek of Indiana Downs for their efforts in organizing and running the event.
